EV evidence, not a mystery score

Record what the EV returned. Keep the limits attached.

ScanWrench is building an owner-authorized flight recorder for charging behavior, range estimates, thermal performance, and intermittent issues. It is read only. It does not collect location or control the vehicle.

A difference is not automatically improvement, degradation, repair success, or cause.

The product earns attention by making evidence portable, not by pretending one provider sees everything.

One complete evidence chain

Before and after, without the verdict theater.

Two signed, non-overlapping observation windows are compared only for the same privacy-preserving vehicle binding.

Demo boundary

This demonstration is deterministic simulator evidence. Physical Tesla evidence is still unverified and will not replace this label until an owner-authorized vehicle completes the published validation procedure.

Deliberately narrow collection

Useful signals. Less surveillance.

ScanWrench requests a bounded evidence allowlist. Location, saved places, media, occupant data, camera, audio, and general vehicle commands are excluded from the pilot contract.

10 to 25 owner pilot

Help establish the first real evidence set.

Selected owners will connect through the provider's own sign-in and key-pairing flow. ScanWrench never asks for a Tesla password. The pilot records success, unavailable signals, disconnects, and limitations with equal weight.

  • One exact vehicle and software configuration at a time
  • Bounded recordings up to 72 hours
  • Stop, disconnect, and delete controls
  • No public findings below ten distinct vehicles
  • No claim of manufacturer approval or representative research
Closed pilotBring one real vehicle into the evidence network.
What should the evidence compare?

No Tesla password, VIN, precise location, phone number, route, media, or payment information is requested here.

Open implementation boundary

A manufacturer can embed the evidence contract without rebuilding ScanWrench.

The EV Evidence Interchange defines provider manifests, privacy-preserving telemetry samples, signed passports, before-and-after comparisons, confidence boundaries, and verification levels. It contains no proprietary OEM definitions and standardizes no remote-control function.

Public draft 1.0. Implementation is permitted. ScanWrench trademarks and provider data rights remain separate.
Real findings status

Not published yet.

ScanWrench has not completed a ten-vehicle physical cohort. The public findings endpoint returns unavailable until the privacy threshold is met. We will publish missing data and contrary outcomes, not only flattering results.
